Terms of service

1. Service description

Krakow Ride provides premium chauffeur services in Krakow and the surrounding region, including:

• Airport transfers (Krakow Balice KRK, Katowice Pyrzowice KTW)
• City-to-city and international transfers
• Hourly chauffeur hire
• Tours and sightseeing transfers (Wieliczka, Auschwitz, Zakopane)
• Wedding and special event transfers

All services are provided with full discretion in line with VIP protocol.

2. Booking and confirmation

Bookings can be placed via our website (krakowride.com), by email, or by phone. A booking is confirmed once payment is received through Stripe. You will receive a confirmation email with your trip details.

For corporate clients with a framework agreement, bookings may be confirmed by our concierge without immediate payment.

3. Pricing and payment

• Pricing is calculated per quote based on route, vehicle type, and additional services, and is presented before payment.
• Payments are processed exclusively online via Stripe. We do not accept cash payments.
• Prices may be quoted in PLN or EUR, depending on client preference.
• For Polish clients, prices include VAT.

4. Cancellation policy

• More than 24 h before pickup \u2014 free cancellation, full refund
• Within 24 h of pickup \u2014 50% of the booking value is charged
• No-show \u2014 100% of the booking value is charged

Exceptions: in cases of extreme weather, natural disasters, or other force majeure events, we may offer a full refund or rebooking regardless of the cancellation window.

5. Waiting time

• Airport pickups \u2014 60 minutes of complimentary waiting from aircraft landing time
• City pickups \u2014 15 minutes of complimentary waiting from the scheduled time

After the complimentary period, an additional per-minute charge applies as specified in your booking confirmation.

6. Passenger obligations

• Arrive on time at the agreed pickup location
• Treat the driver respectfully and take care of the vehicle
• Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is prohibited in all vehicles
• Respect luggage limits appropriate for the booked vehicle type
• Inform us in advance of unusual luggage (e.g., ski equipment, bicycle)

The passenger is liable for any damage to the vehicle caused deliberately or through negligence.

7. Liability

All Krakow Ride vehicles are insured in accordance with Polish law. Krakow Ride is not liable for:

• Flight delays, schedule changes, or airport closures
• Traffic congestion, roadworks, or road closures beyond our control
• Loss of luggage or personal items left in the vehicle (we will make reasonable efforts to return them)

Krakow Ride’s maximum liability for any claim is limited to the value of the booking in question.

8. Modifications

Route changes may be arranged with the driver during the trip and may incur an additional charge. We reserve the right to substitute a vehicle of equal or higher class if the booked vehicle becomes unavailable for technical reasons.

9. Complaints

Complaints must be submitted within 7 days of the trip date by emailing service@krakowride.com. Please include your booking reference, trip date, and a description of the issue. We will respond within 14 business days.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Polish law. Any disputes arising from the use of Krakow Ride services shall be resolved by the competent courts in Krakow, Poland.

11. Amendments

Krakow Ride reserves the right to amend these terms. The updated version will be published on our website with a new effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
